Pre-applied HDPE film waterproofing membrane
HDPE pre-applied membrane is a mainly made of high density polyethylene resin, which cover with macromolecule self-adhesive film and sand or PE/PET. It can bond with concrete layer tightly. After solidifying with the concrete, it forms a seamless bond, eliminating the hidden danger of water leakage and effectively improving the reliability of the waterproofing system.
Usage
Underground project basement waterproofing , internal waterproofing of underground project side walls.
Packing
HDPE pre-applied membrane is available in:
-1.2mm and 1.5mm thickness
-1m and 2m width
-20m/roll
Advantages
1.Suitable to underground and tunnel construction and pre-applied waterproof construction. It has waterproof layer, steel bar can be directly installed on the membrane and requiring no protection.
2.Low flatness requirement to substrate, can shorten construction term.Cracks and surface irregularities no need to be filled with polymer mortar, can construct on wet base.
3.Simple and fast construction, flexible and flexible construction methods.
4.Environmentally- friendly: non-pollution.
Application
1. The base surface is allowed to be moist but there must be no visible water. If there is visible water, blocking or drainage measures should be taken.
2. The base surface should be solid and flat, the yin and yang corner should be made into arcs or 45-degree slopes, and the base surface should be cleaned before laying the roll material.
3. The pre-laid polymer self-adhesive membrane waterproofing membrane adopts the empty laying construction technology, with the long side having a 70mm adhesive overlap edge and the short side being overlapped with a matching special double-sided tape.
4. After the reserved self-adhesive edge isolation film at the roll material seam is torn off, the roll material lap joint bonding operation should be carried out in time, and the roll material should be rolled and bonded firmly with a pressure roller to prevent the self-adhesive surface from being contaminated with dust, which will reduce the bonding strength and cause loose bonding or warping of the edges.
Attentions
1. In low-temperature environments, the adhesion of self-adhesive films will decrease, so it is necessary to lay them in a warm environment.
2. The self-adhesive film needs to avoid contact with sharp objects or tools during laying to avoid scratching or damaging the self-adhesive film.
3. When laying self-adhesive film, it is necessary to avoid bending or folding to avoid affecting the adhesion and waterproof effect of the self-adhesive film.
Safety Precautions
We recommend using protective gloves during installation.HDPE pre-applied membrane should be lifted by two site personnel.

Storage and transportation
During transportation and storage, products of different types and specifications should be stacked separately and should not be mixed. Avoid sunshine and rain, pay attention to ventilation. Storage temperature should not be higher than 45 ℃, membrane storage height of no more than five layers of flat storage, vertical storage in a single layer of stacking. Prevent tilting or side pressure during transport. Under normal storage and transport conditions, the shelf life is 1 year.
