Building Waterproofing Renovation
Waterproof construction of Lingyin Temple renovation and expansion project

Project Name: Waterproof construction of Lingyin Temple renovation and expansion project
Project Overview: Lingyin Temple was first built in the first year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and has a history of about 1700 years. It is the earliest famous temple in Hangzhou and a famous Buddhist destination. Lingyin Temple is located west of West Lake in Hangzhou, backed by the North Peak and facing Feilai Peak. The two peaks stand together, with towering trees and ancient temples in the deep mountains, shrouded in clouds and smoke. The waterproofing project focuses on the protection of cultural relics, waterproofing treatment of different building parts, special environmental response, and control of construction details. Adhering to the principle of "minimal intervention", environmentally friendly waterproofing materials that do not damage ancient buildings are used to avoid damaging the cultural relics and building structures inside the temple. Lingyin Temple is located in the south of the Yangtze River, with a humid and rainy climate and relatively high groundwater. The waterproof engineering design and construction fully consider the climate and geological conditions, and use materials that are resistant to water and corrosion.
