1.Description:

Self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt membrane is a strong self-adhesive waterproof material made out of polymer modified asphalt material as dipping and coating.The surface consists of separate silicon-coated insulation layer, including polyester filler base and without filler base.

4. construction technology

Dry laying method construction

(1) The base layer should be solid, flat, clean, and dry, with no dust, debris, or oil stains on the surface. The internal and external corners at the intersection of flat and vertical surfaces should be made into arcs or 45 corners.

(2) Before the construction of the roll material, an asphalt based base treatment agent should be applied to reduce surface floating ash and enhance adhesion. The application should be uniform and not missed or exposed. The next roll material construction can only be carried out when the base material has reached a dry level (generally non stick to the hand).

(3) Pop up control lines on the base layer according to the set paving direction, and pre lay the roll according to the pre popped reference line.

(4) Peel off the isolation film on the bottom of the self-adhesive roll material from one end to the other, and lay the self-adhesive roll material from low to high according to the drainage slope. Use tools such as scrapers or rollers to drive the air under the roll material to both sides and lay it flat and compact.

Wet laying method construction

(1) The base should be solid, flat, and clean, with no dust, debris, or oil stains on the surface. The internal and external corners at the junction of the flat and vertical surfaces should be made into arcs or 45 arc angles.

(2) Mix the special adhesive powder to water in a ratio of 1:100 and stir to form a paste like consistency (the amount of water used should be adjusted according to the weather and moisture content of the base layer on that day).

(3) Pop up control lines on the base layer according to the set paving direction, and pre lay the roll according to the pre popped reference line.

(4) Maintain a certain degree of moisture on the base surface, scrape or brush a layer of blended polymer adhesive on the base surface, and remove the isolation film on the bottom surface of the self-adhesive roll before the polymer adhesive dries. Lay the self-adhesive roll, and use tools such as scrapers or rollers to drive out the air and excess adhesive under the roll to both sides for smooth and dense laying, to prevent the scraped slurry from contaminating the self-adhesive joint. Personnel are strictly prohibited from entering within 24 hours after the installation of the roll material.

5. Storage and transportation

During transportation and storage, products of different types and specifications should be stacked separately and not mixed together. Avoid direct sunlight and rain, and pay attention to ventilation. The storage temperature should not exceed 45 ℃. When storing rolls horizontally, the stacking height should not exceed five layers. When storing them vertically, they should be stacked in a single layer. Prevent tilting or lateral pressure during transportation. Under normal storage and transportation conditions, the shelf life is 1 year.
